Sucden Monetary issued with penalty by LME for late report submission

The LME has discovered Sucden Monetary Restricted (SFL) to be in breach of LME Discover 21/099 and has imposed an automated penalty cost of £3,000.00.

On 19 Could 2021, the LME issued Discover 21/099, which launched automated penalty expenses for any Member who fails to submit Commodity Place Report (CPR) information and/or handle Warrant holdings in LMEsword in a well timed and correct method.

Any Member that fails to report CPR in a well timed and correct method on 5 or extra days in a calendar month can be topic to an automated penalty cost.

Because of late CPR submissions on 5 or extra enterprise days within the months of March and April 2023, the LME imposed an automated penalty cost of £3,000.00, which has been paid by SFL.

The LME reminds Members of the significance of well timed and correct CPR submissions.
