Italy’s CONSOB orders blocking of internet sites of ProtechFx and PrimusForex

Italy’s Firms and Change Fee (CONSOB) has issued orders for the blocking of entry to 4 unlawful funding web sites.
The web sites focused by the most recent Consob orders are:
- “FP Europe” – (web site https://fpeurope.com and associated web page https://consumer.fpeurope.com);
- “PrimusForex” – (web site https://primusforex.web and associated web page https://panel.primusforex.web)
- “ProtechFx” – (web site www.protechfx.com and associated web page https://account.protechfx.com);
- “Trezocapital” – (web site www.trezocapital.web and associated web page https://webtrader.trezocapital.web).
In issuing the orders, the regulator made use of the powers deriving from the “Decreto crescita” (“Progress Decree”; Regulation no. 58 of 28 June 2019, Article no. 36, paragraph 2-terdecies), on the idea of which Consob can order Web service suppliers to dam entry from Italy to web sites providing monetary providers with out the right authorization.
The variety of web sites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob obtained the ability to order that the web sites of fraudulent monetary intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 923. Consob commonly points such orders. Not too long ago, the regulator ordered the black-out of FX Modex and Binetrix web sites.
The implementation of the blocking of those web sites by Web service suppliers working in Italy is ongoing. For technical causes, it will probably take a number of days for the black-out to return into impact.
