Diego De Giorgi will succeed Andy Halford as Commonplace Chartered PLC’s Group Chief Monetary Officer with impact from 3 January 2024.
Andy Halford will step down from the Board and as GCFO on 2 January 2024 and can proceed as a Senior Adviser to the Group till his retirement on 31 August 2024.
Diego De Giorgi was most lately the Co-Chief Government of Pegasus Europe, Europe’s largest-ever Particular Objective Acquisition Firm. Previous to this, he was an unbiased non-executive director of UniCredit S.p.A. from 2020 to 2021.
From 2013 to 2019, he served in management roles at Financial institution of America Merrill Lynch. He was the Co-Head then Head of World Funding Banking from 2015 to 2019 and the Co-Head of Company & Funding Banking for the EMEA area between 2013 and 2015.
Earlier than that, Diego De Giorgi joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 and labored in roles throughout the Fairness Capital Markets and Monetary Establishments Teams in London. He later turned the Chief Working Officer for the corporate’s Funding Banking division previous to departing in 2012.
